Terrorists planned bomb attacks in Penza, Saratov and Makhachkala on voting day
Baku – APA. Three terrorist attacks were prevented by the Russian law-enforcement agencies on the day of State Duma elections, said Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev, APA reports. He said the law-enforcement agencies received six reports on the terrorists’ plans and three of these reports were confirmed. Terrorists planned bomb attacks in Penza, Saratov and Makhachkala. Nurgaliyev didn’t give details.
Nurgaliyev said 59 criminal facts related to the elections were found and criminal investigation was launched on the facts. He said public security was completely ensured during the voting and serious infringements and terrorist attacks were prevented.
