Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nino Kalandadze said the information was false. Georgian official said the sides were trying to fix the date of Sargsyan’s visit to Georgia.

The statement made by Georgian President during the landslide on the border of the two countries caused coolness in the relations between Sargsyan and Saakashvili. Saakashvili said the Armenian government acted slowly, while urgent interference was needed. Following this, Armenian press wrote that Sargsyan had taken offence at that and postponed his visit to Tbilisi. Media insists that the problem between Sargsyan and Saakashvili is confirmed by the fact that even the approximate date of Armenian President’s visit has not been determined.
