Baku-APA. Russian president Dmitry Medvedev dismissed deputy PG Interior Ministry in Krasnodar Territory – the chief of police of public security, Oleg Akarkov, as well as deputy head of Russian Interior Ministry in the Kemerovo Region and Altai Territory – the chief of police of public safety a major general of militia Alexey Kozhevin and Anatoly Kiselev, APA reports quoting “www.mysouth.su” website. Militia Major General Boris Orlov, Alexei Ivanov dismissed from his office deputy head of police department for economic security in the Saratov and Kemerovo regions. Militia Major General Rafael Gilmanov removed from his post as deputy head of Russian Interior Ministry in Tatarstan on economic security. The reform of the Ministry of the Interior adopted the Law on Police which entered into force on 1 March. The document, in particular, provides for renaming departments, as well as strengthening public control over them. In the course of reforming the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2012 is planned to cut 22% of personnel. Since March 1, the ministry launched an extraordinary re-certification, which is expected to be completed by June 1 this year. Police are only those employees who have passed certification. Positions in the reform have already lost many police generals.
