On Thursday evening, the Saudi warplanes fired a number of missiles into the civilian airport, inflicting serious damage to it. There were no immediate reports on possible casualties, Arabic-language al-Masirah satellite television network reported.
The Saudi fighter jets also pounded areas located between the towns of Razeh and Shadda in Yemen’s northwestern province of Sa’ada, though there is still no word on the extent of damage and possible fatalities.
Earlier in the day, a civilian was killed and three others wounded when Saudi warplanes struck the presidential compound and the Special Forces camp in the city of Ta’izz, situated 260 kilometers (166 miles) south of Sana’a.
