Baku-APA. Hamas Prime Minister, Ismail Haneya, said Friday that the Islamic movement "doesn't have any political or military interference into Egypt's internal affairs, or in Sinai."
He added that "Hamas only fights Israel to liberate Palestine."
Haneya told Friday prayers at one of Gaza city's mosques that the Arab democratic transition are witnessing "deterioration and defection," in reference to the turmoil that most of the Arab states has been experiencing since 2011.
However, he went on saying that "the Palestinian people are still optimistic that the Arab revolution will be one day fruitful because we are certain that Palestine will be liberated together with the complete liberation of the Arabs."
At the end of his speech, Haneya prayed for those who were killed in the clashes between supporters of Egyptian ousted President Mohamed Morsi and the security troops, after the latter launched a dispersal operation Wednesday against two pro-Morsi sit- ins in Cairo.
