Ahmet Davutoglu invites newly-appointed Iranian Foreign Minister to trilateral meeting among Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iran

APA reports quoting IRIB that Ahmet Davutoglu and Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed further development of the relations between the two countries and regional issues. Touching upon the strategic importance of the bilateral relations, the ministers stressed the importance of developing Iran-Turkey relations on regional level.

Davutoglu congratulated Zarif on confirmation as Iranian Foreign Minister and wished to develop relations with Iran in all spheres. Noting the high-level meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held In Tehran, Davutoglu invited his Iranian counterpart to visit Turkey to participate in the trilateral meeting in Erzurum for the development of cooperation among Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iran.

Expressing his concern over the ongoing Egypt unrests, Zarif underlined the importance of regional cooperation for solution of regional crisis.
