Baku-APA. Four people were killed in a bomb blast Friday outside a mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia, APA reports quoting Anadolu Agency.
An Interior Ministry spokesman said that security forces had suspected a car in the mosque park in the city of Dammam, according to the official SPA news agency.
"The car went off as security forces approached it, killing four people, including a man believed to be the driver," the spokesman said.
The attack was swiftly claimed by the Daesh militant group on its Twitter account.
Last week, Daesh claimed an attack on a Shia mosque in the eastern Qatif province, which left at least 21 people dead.
