The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced on Thursday that coalition forces led by the United States are taking action in response to an event in which a ship was targeted by two missiles approximately 70 nautical miles southeast of Aden, a port city in Yemen, APA reports citing TeleTrader.
"It has been reported that a vessel was attacked by two missiles, resulting in a fire on board," the UKMTO noted. The organization added that an investigation into the incident is underway and advised all ships to proceed with caution and report any unusual or suspicious activity they may encounter.
