Refugees who sought asylum in Türkiye are now returning to their homeland on their own, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said during a rally in Sakarya, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He criticized the opposition's calls and intentions to send Syrian refugees back to their country, saying: "We never intended to expel the refugees; we always said we would take care of them. Now, they are returning to their homes on their own, with bags and suitcases."
