Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had a telephone conversation, the Turkish Presidential Administration released a statement on this, APA reports.
During the telephone conversation, Türkiye-Italy bilateral relations, regional and global issues were discussed.
Erdogan said that it is important to take action without delay for the reconstruction of Syria, and that he believes that the lifting of sanctions against Syria and Italy's leadership in this process will be beneficial.
