Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves le Drian met on June 7 in Paris as part of their joint efforts to normalize relations after a stormy period that caused deep divergences on both bilateral issues and regional developments, APA reports citing Hurriyet Daily.
Cavusoglu said on June 7 that the ministers discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
"We plan to strengthen our relations with France on the basis of mutual respect," he said in a Twitter post.
