Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that terrorists in the region must leave the country in order to prevent a new operation in Syria, APA reports, citing Turkish media.
Fidan watches the final preparations of the new Syrian leadership to eliminate the remaining members of the YPG terrorist organization in the region.
Stressing that the new administration established in Syria after the overthrow of the Assad regime does not hesitate to fight, Fidan said that the desired conditions to prevent future conflicts in the region are clear.
He said that if the YPG does not agree to lay down its arms, the Syrian administration has the power to fight against the YPG.
"The ultimatum we have given to the YPG is clear. If you do not want a military operation, international terrorist fighters must leave the country. In addition, PKK leaders must leave the country. If these do not happen, military operations will be carried out," the minister said.
