The Syrian National Army (SNA) has liberated the northern Syrian town of Manbij from the PKK/YPG terrorist group, clearing out the largest terrorist stronghold to the west of the Euphrates River, a Turkish security source said Monday, APA reports citing Daily Sabah.
Syrian Interim Government President Abdurrahman Mustafa congratulated the people of Manbij and the SNA for liberating the town from PKK/YPG, calling it a “new step in re-facilitating Syria’s sovereignty”.
