North Korean leader Kim Jong-un sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday for Russia's national holiday, saying that ties with Russia are a "precious strategic asset" and that his government will "ceaselessly develop good neighborly and cooperative relations" with Moscow, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Kim said North Korea extends "full support and solidarity to the Russian people in their all-out struggle for implementing the sacred cause to preserve the sovereign rights, development and interests of their country against the imperialists' high-handed and arbitrary practices and to realize the international justice."
He also wished Russia "victory," presumably referring to the war in Ukraine.
