The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted an operation in southern Lebanon in response to Hezbollah's actions, despite the ceasefire agreement, APA reports citing the IDF.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed carrying out several strikes in Lebanon in the past day, following what it says were Hezbollah actions “that posed a threat to the State of Israel and violated the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The Israeli military said it struck several military vehicles operating at a Hezbollah missile manufacturing facility in the Beqaa Valley, and additional vehicles at several sites on the Lebanon-Syria border in the Hermel District, which were used by Hezbollah to transport weapons.
The IDF noted that they are aware of a Lebanese army soldier who was injured during the operation and that the matter is under investigation.
