Police detained five people for disturbing public order after a protest in Tel Aviv, APA reports citing the Israeli police press service.
According to the report, at the end of the agreed rally, a group of demonstrators refused to end the rally and continued the rally by blocking the road.
Security guards detained demonstrators who resisted the police.
The police stressed that they respect the legal right of citizens to protest.
"At the same time, the police will not tolerate riots, violence and vandalism that could undermine the safety of the population," the security guards said in a statement.
