"Pakistan has invited Iran and the US to hold talks in Islamabad. This invitation is currently being studied and planned. However, undoubtedly, holding any talks depends on the US being confident in fulfilling its ceasefire commitments on all fronts," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bagai, APA's correspondent in Tehran reports.
"The cessation of the war in Lebanon is an integral part of the ceasefire agreement proposed by Pakistan, and as the country's Prime Minister has clearly stated, the US has committed to stopping the war on all fronts, including Lebanon. Any action or position that contradicts this commitment means that the US is not fulfilling its commitment," the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
Bagai also emphasized that the composition of the delegation to be sent to Pakistan will be announced after the visit program is finalized.
