"Iran will impose new sanctions against the European Union (EU) today," said a spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will consider the non-constructive behavior of some countries, including the European Union, and will use deterrent measures: "Today, we will apply sanctions against some individuals and institutions of the European Union in the same framework."
The MFA official added that sanctions would also be applied against Great Britain.
