Israel has made a decision to respond to the Iranian drone and ballistic missile attack, UK's foreign secretary Lord David Cameron has said during a visit to Israel, APA reports citing The Telegraph.
“It’s clear the Israelis are making a decision to act,” said Lord Cameron. “We hope they do so in a way that does as little to escalate this as possible.”
The Government has previously called for restraint following the attack, with Lord Cameron urging Israel to be “smart as well as tough” by not escalating the conflict.
Britain wanted to see coordinated sanctions against Iran, Lord Cameron added on Wednesday. “They need to be given a clear unequivocal message by the G7,” he said.
