It is planned to start the mass production of Turkiye's first unmanned combat aircraft "Bayraktar Kızılelma" next year, APA reports citing Anadolu agency.
The system recognition test was successfully completed with the fourth test flight of "Bayraktar Kızılelma" produced by "Baykar" company.
Up to now, two prototypes of "Bayraktar Kızıelma" have been developed, and work is being continued in the direction of improvement. It was noted that mass production of Turkiye's first unmanned combat aircraft is planned to begin in 2024.
"Bayraktar Kızılelma" is expected to start flight tests in 2025 from "TCG Anadolu", the world's first armed unmanned aerial vehicle ship.
It should be noted that the first flight of "Bayraktar Kızılelma" took place on December 14, 2022.
