A regional bus carrying some 50 passengers from Lucknow to Delhi overturned at the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Uttar Pradesh and fell into a canal early on Monday, APA reports quoting sputniknews.
At least 29 people were killed in the incident, and several injured, local media reported, citing national emergency services. Rescue operations are reportedly underway at the site of the incident.
According to the News18 media outlet, the bus driver lost control of the passenger vehicle before ramming into a highway railing and falling into a canal.
