Former Secretary of Armenia's Security Council Armen Grigoryan has declined an offer to take up a position in the Prime Minister's Office, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told journalists during a briefing at the government, APA reports.
“I offered Armen Grigoryan a job in the Prime Minister's Office, but apparently, he preferred to take a break from his career in public service. I treat this with understanding and respect,” he said.
It should be noted that former Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan has replaced Armen Grigoryan as Secretary of the Security Council.
