APA reports that the ambassadors of Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Portugal and the Netherlands were invited to the Foreign Ministry. EU unilateral sanctions against Iran and other issues were discussed at the meeting.

Member of Iranian parliament’s commission for national security and foreign policy, MP Kerim Abidi said some European countries asked time from Iran to cancel the EU decision on imposing sanction on Iran’s oil.

“Ambassadors of France and other EU members came to the parliament and demanded to remove from agenda the bill on halting oil export to Europe. Some eastern European countries say the EU sanction is a political decision,” he said.
