APA reports that executive director of the company-developer of the project Mehdi Irazhi said that the UAV "A1" can fly at an altitude of 10 thousand feet, and carry up to 5 kg. 50-kg UAV can stay airborne for two hours. The aircraft uses fuel gas and special oil. It costs about 50 thousands dollars.

In addition, the engineers of the Islamic Azad University also made an unmanned aerial vehicle. Weight of the aircrafts 3.5 kg, length - 2.5 m. Engineer, Alirza Murad planned "Eye of an eagle” aircraft. The aircraft, operating from battery power of 500 watts, can stay airborne for a short time and investigate. Aircraft also has a video camera system and GPS. 10 such aircrafts was made at present.
