Baku hosted an exhibition, "Mother, I don't want a war," with the organization of the embassies of Poland and Ukraine in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky, Polish ambassador Rafal Poborsky, and heads of diplomatic missions of various countries in Azerbaijan took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Speaking at the opening, the Polish ambassador said that the children's paintings displayed in this exhibition bear traces of the trauma experienced by Polish children during the Second World War, as well as the suffering of Ukrainian children as a result of Russia's attack on Ukraine.

Notably, the project consists of historical paintings created by Polish children in 1946, reflecting the experiences of the Second World War, German and Soviet occupation (1939-1945), and modern paintings featuring the Russian attack on Ukraine through the eyes of Ukrainian children.

The exhibition will be open to visitors at Landmark in Baku until September 29, 2022.
