Azerbaijani Kamran Shahmardan becomes “Artist of the Year” in Finland

Azerbaijani artist Kamran Shahmardan living in Finland and leading the White and Black Theater there became the “Artist of the Year” in Finland and won the title of honorary artist of Finland. The ceremony of presentation was held in Kouvola City, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan told APA.
Kamran Shahmardan was born in Baku in 1972 and graduated from the School of Producers of the Stockholm Art Academy in 1999. He worked as a director of synthetic-genre White and Black Theater he founded in Imatra for almost 10 years. Now our compatriot is working at the Helsinki Municipal Theater. He directed The Human Voice by French dramatist Jean Cocteau at the Ibrus Theater in Baku.
