Works by famous Bulgarian artist Emil Stoychev exhibited in Baku

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. The exhibition of the works by famous Bulgarian artist Emil Stoychev has been opened today in Museum center, APA reports. The artist held a press conference before the exhibition and said he was satisfied that his exhibition had been opened in Baku. Giving information about his creative activity the artist said his exhibitions had been organized in more than 15 countries of the world.
â€œI always repeat that artists and generally art is the most valuable diamond of the state throne. A state is nothing without morality. Who can speak about the most secret feelings of a nation? Only an artist,â€ he said.

Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev highly appreciated the artistâ€™s exhibition in Baku.
â€œIt should be particularly noted that this exhibition is held with support of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov. Emil Stoychev, who exhibited his works in many countries, is now demonstrating his works in Baku. I am sure that todayâ€™s event will play a special role in the expansion of the cultural relations between the two countries,â€ he said.
The minister noted that Stoychevâ€™s works had been kept in the museums of France, Germany, the Netherlands, US and other countries.
Vice-president of Bulgaria angel Marin said the relations between the two countries had historical roots. Chairman of Azerbaijan Artistsâ€™ Union, peopleâ€™s artist Farhad Khalilov wished success to his Bulgarian colleague and hoped he would often come to Azerbaijan.
Bulgarian delegation composed of the artistâ€™s wife Danifika Stoycheva, chairman of Bulgaria-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Maksim Dimov and artist Borislav Slavov participated in the exhibition.
The works by Stoychev exhibited in the early 60s was bought by Bulgarian professor Bogomil Raynov.
The exhibition will last by November 26.
