Karabakh Mugham Center opens in Agjabadi

Agjabadi. Teymur Zahidoglu – APA. Karabakh Mugham Center named after Uzeyir Hajibayov has been opened in Agjabadi region today. APA’s Karabakh bureau reports that Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev, Chairman of Azerbaijan Real Estate Registry Service Arif Garashov, rector of Baku Music Academy Farhad Badalbayli, culture and art figures participated in the opening ceremony. The Mugham Center built at the expense of Heydar Aliyev Foundation covers area of 1300 square meters. There are 154-seat summer and winter halls, 6 classrooms, 2 administration rooms, 1 meeting room, 2 makeup rooms and a foyer in the center. Marble bust of Uzeyir Hajibayov has been erected in front of the Mugham Center. Architectural compositions describing fragments of the works by the outstanding composer have been made in the park in front of Mugham Center.
