Ballet stars to perform at the State Opera and Ballet Theater

Russian ballet star Tatyana Chernobrovkina will perform as Odetta-Odilia in Chaykovsky’s “Swan Lake†at the State Opera and Ballet Theater, the theater’s press service told APA. Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata†starring by the Moscow-resided Azerbaijani young vocalist Dinara Aliyeva will be performed same month. Serbian vocalist Petya Ivanova was invited to perform Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi. Soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Diana Vishneva is also among the guest artists. A new production of Gara Garayev’s “Seven Beauties†ballet will also be demonstrated in the new season. The performance will be produced by St. Petersburg-based ballet-master Vasiliy Medvedev on libretto by Turkish author Yana Temiz. The ballet’s decoration drawings were designed by the artist of the Russian Bolshoy Theater and costumes by Honored Artist Tahir Tahirov. Musical director and conductor of the performance is the conductor of Istanbul Opera and Ballet Theater our compatriot Elshad Baguirov.
