According to APA, President was informed that the 3.6-m bronze monument was designed by honored artist Namig Dadashov. The monument is surrounded by a newly-renovated park.
President Aliyev unveiled the monument and laid flowers at the monument.
Then the Head of State met with the well-known Azerbaijani musicians.
Rector of the Baku Academy of Music Farhad Badalbeyli, first performer of Fikret Amirov’s “Sevil†opera Firangiz Ahmadova and the composer’s son Jamil Amirov thanked the Head of State for his attention to the development of music in Azerbaijan.
