Young Azerbaijani violinist Jeyla Seyidova wins International Competition for Young Violinists “Bravo” - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. Young Azerbaijani violinist Jeyla Seyidova won the 4th International Competition for Young Violinists “Bravo” in Namur, Belgium, the musician’s mother Samira Seyidova told APA.

Samira Seyidova said her daughter’s performance was highly appreciated by the world-known musicians. Speaking about the jury of the competition she said it included Philippe Descamps, Guido Jardon, Jean-Frederic Molard, Valery Oistrakh, Tatiana Samuel and Igor Tkachuk.

Azerbaijani musician won the competition consisting of two stages. The competition covered four age groups. Four or five musicians competed in other age groups, while in 15 musicians competed in Jeyla Seyidova’s group. Jeyla Seyidova competed with the representatives of France, Russia, Belgium and other countries. Ministry of Education sent her to the competition to represent Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani musician was offered to study at Brussels Conservatoire.
“Jeyla is the pupil of the 10th form. For now she does not want to be abroad. But it is a good proposal, we will think about it,” he said.

Samira Seyidova underlined that according to the conditions of the International Competition “Bravo”, winning this competition means admission to the conservatoire.

Jeyla Seyidova has participated in a number of international competitions and festivals and had a success.
