Moscow. Farid Akbarov –APA. Azerbaijani composer, USSR People’s Artist Fikret Amirov’s “One Thousand and One Nights” ballet was performed in Kremlin Palace, Moscow on February 7. The ballet was directed by famous Russian choreographer and director of the Kremlin Ballet Theater Andrei Petrov, APA Moscow correspondent reports.

The libretto was written by Azerbaijani popular writers Rustam and Magsoud Ibrahimbeyov. Art-director of the ballet is USSR People’s Artist Tahir Salahov.

Accompanied by Rakhmaninov Symphonic Orchestra, “One Thousand and One Nights” led the Moscow viewers to the world of Oriental tales and Azerbaijani music.

“One Thousand and One Nights” ballet was performed in Kremlin Palace for the first time on April 16, 2010.
