US President's Special envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff will participate in the next round of Russian-Ukrainian talks in the UAE, an anonymous US official told Axios, APA reports.
"Witkoff will visit Israel before going to Abu Dhabi. In Abu Dhabi, talks between Russia and Ukraine will take place on February 4-5," the source said.
According to Axios, no meeting of Witkoff with the Iranian side has been planned yet.
It should be noted that the US President's special representative will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army Eyal Zamir in Israel.
