We will begin to neutralize the mines placed by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to APA , US President Donald Trump made this announcement in a tweet .

“Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the best in the world, will begin a blockade of all ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz. After a certain period of time, we will switch to a “let all in and let all out” regime, but Iran has made this impossible by simply saying, “There may be a mine somewhere,” and no one but them knows that. This is blackmail on a global scale, and no leader, especially the United States, will bow to blackmail. I have ordered the Navy to track and seize all ships in international waters that are making illegal payments to Iran. No ship making illegal payments will be able to safely navigate the high seas. We will also begin clearing mines that Iran has placed in the Strait. Any Iranians who fire on U.S. forces or peacekeeping vessels will be “totally destroyed,” Donald Trump said.
