Official Moscow's agreement on possible security guarantees offered by Western countries to Ukraine has not yet been reached, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this during a hearing at the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, APA reports.
"I think it can be said that our side of the issue has been agreed. But of course, there is also a Russian dynamic here. The main condition for this mechanism to work is the achievement of peace. Of course, any security guarantee will come into effect only after the conflict is over. Therefore, that component of the issue must also be taken into account," Rubio emphasized.
