Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarakâ€™s health deteriorates

Baku â€“ APA. Deposed Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who is currently in Sharm el-Sheikh with his younger son Ali, is suffering from physical health problems and psychological distress after he was forced to step down under pressure from continuing protests, APA reports quoting â€œAl-Masry Al-Youmâ€ newspaper.
Mubarak, who has undergone several surgeries over the past few years, is refusing to take medication or be examined by physicians.
Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq affirmed on Sunday that Mubarak is still in Sharm el-Sheikh.
Mubarak is receiving treatment at his residence in the resort town, and it has not yet been decided whether he should be transported to a hospital, either in Egypt or abroad.
Mubarak, 82, underwent surgery in March to remove an inflamed gallbladder and benign tumor in his duodenum. The surgery was carried out at the Heidelberg clinic in Germany.
