Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA. UNDP Administrator Helen Clark, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, gave a lecture on post-2015 Development Agenda and Global Sustainable Development Goals at ADA University.
Helen Clark gave information about the Millennium Declaration signed in 2000 and its implementation for this period, APA reports.
She stressed that the Millennium Development Goals has already succeed in performing a number of tasks.
Speaking about Azerbaijan, the UNDP Administrator said the future success of the country is related to the global economy and ecosystem, peace and security in the world: “The results of the consultations held in connection with the period after 2015 are in line with “Azerbaijan 2020: Vision into the Future” development conception.”
At the end of her speech, she expressed her gratitude to Azerbaijan for its close cooperation with the UN.
“UNDP is interested in continuation of cooperation with Azerbaijan,” Clark said.
