Temperature to drop 3â€¦5 C in Azerbaijan

Senior hydrologist of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Asif Verdiyev told APA that the temperature in the country will drop 3…5 C compared to the previous days as a result of the north-west wind.

The weather is expected to be changeable cloudy, sometimes gloomy and mainly rainless in Baku and Absheron peninsula on July 8. However, lightning and intermittent rain are expected in some areas towards the evening. Tomorrow the weather will be windy and north-west wind will occasionally intensify in some parts of the peninsula. The temperature will be 20…24 C at night and 27…32 C in the daytime.

Lightning and rain are expected in some mountainous regions of Azerbaijan at night and in the evening on July 6. The west wind will occasionally intensify in some regions. The temperature will be 19…24 C at night, 29…34 in the daytime and in mountains 10…15 C at night, 20…25 C in the daytime.

According to the medical-meteorological forecast, occasionally intensified Khazri (cold north wind) in the next two days in Absheron peninsula can cause discomfort for some weather-sensitive people.
