Quake-affected nurseries-kindergartens in Zagatala and Gakh regions reopened

APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau reports that under the order of the Cabinet of Ministers, reconstruction works have been started in quake-affected 9 nurseries-kindergartens in Zagatala.

Two of them –kindergarten #4 in Aliabad settlement and nursery #1 in Ashaghi Tala village have today been inaugurated. The interior of the kindergarten has been fully changed. It has been supplied with modern heating systems, new inventory equipment and soft beddings, bathroom and lavatory equipment have been renewed. Head of Zagatala Region Executive Authority Mubariz Ahmadzadeh, representatives of relevant organizations, residents of Aliabad settlement and Ashaghi Tala village attended the opening ceremony.

Addressing the events, head of Zagatala Region Executive Authority Mubariz Ahmadzadeh and other speakers congratulated the village residents on the opening of nurseries-kindergartens. It was underlined that other nurseries-kindergartens will be restored soon.

Another nursery-kindergarten was opened in Gakh. Gakh nursery-kindergarten #6 was severely damaged in the quake in May, 2012. The nursery-kindergarten was overhauled in line with modern standards under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. Modern heating system has been installed, bathroom and lavatory equipment renewed. The event on the occasion of the restoration of Gakh nursery-kindergarten #6 was attended by local authorities, representatives of relevant organizations and residents. It was said that several kindergartens are being overhauled, one will be rebuilt.
