Foreign Ministry's press service told APA that Huseynov gave information about the works done to exercise the voting rights of Azerbaijani citizens living abroad in presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 9 and said that polling stations had been established at Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions and consulates in accordance with article #35.6 of the Election Code at the meeting.
Member of observation mission Vladimir Garkun said that 20-person delegation of the CIS mission is operating at the headquarters established in Azerbaijan to observe the pre-election situation.
Garkun said that 300 short-term observers would be included into the mission, most of them being MPs and chairmen of election commissions.
