She said that the court of the 15th district of Paris has today considered the appeal on the burial of Togrul Narimanbekov made by his daughter Asmar Narimanbekova. Sevil Narimanbekova said that the hearing lasted for 2 hours in calm atmosphere and the court would pass decision on the place of the deceased’s burial tomorrow.
The laureate of the USSR State Prize and People's Artist of Azerbaijan, individual pensioner of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Togrul Narimanbekov died at 83 on June 7. The second wife of the deceased wanted him to be buried in France. However, his daughter Asmar Narimanbekova opposed it. She demanded to bury her father in Azerbaijan and appealed to the French court in this regard.
