According to the report, 21 percent of the population of the country falls under the poor group (less than USD 4 per day) and 19 percent under the middle income group (USD 10-50 per day). Most of the population falls under floating group (USD 4-10 per day).
Unlike Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia are among the countries with lower-middle-income economies. 38 percent of the Georgian population falls under the poor group and 10-12 percent under the middle income group. In Armenia, the number of poor people accounts 20 percent and middle income 8 percent.
The report says that wage inequality is most observed in France, Denmark, Spain and the US.
According to prognosis, Global unemployment is expected to approach 208 million in 2015, compared with slightly over 200 million at the time of publication. The number of jobseekers will continue to swell and is expected to reach 214 million by 2018.
