Baku – APA. In relation to the development of information and communication technologies recent years, young people spend their leisure time on various useful things on the internet. Taking it into account, IDEA campaign is launching a new project aiming to raise environmental awareness among young people in the Azerbaijan internet space, to encourage young people to write different blogs, articles on ecological issues such as promotion of new approach to methods of combating with ecological problems.
The project intends to implement "Green Blogging" training courses for those who want to improve blog writing skills, raise awareness on negative damages on environment either locally or globally, and strengthen the position of public in the elimination of such negative impacts.
“Green Blogging” project is a new opportunity for youth for the first time in
Azerbaijan to express new ideas on the protection of ecological balance of our
planet and vision to future. Additionally, the project aims to learn the vision of young people to the processes on the solution of ecological problems in the world and deliver the position of representatives of next generation to barriers existing in this direction to the public.
Young people who can join to these training courses
between the ages of 18-30
who are interested in environment and writing blogs
who have an ability to work independently with computers
Trainings that will be conducted by environmental specialists studied abroad will take place in IDEA Resource Center since July 15.
Young people who want to participate in the training courses must send their CVs and small article named "How to protect environment" not later than June 30 to the [email protected] e-mail address under the name of “Green Blogging training courses”.
