Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Health Ministry Anar Gadirli told APA that Hajigabul resident Azizova Asmar, born in 1990, died after an abortion.
She said the condition of the patient, who had her third abortion, deteriorated 5 days after the operation.
She was hospitalized in critical condition. Urologist and resuscitator arrived from Baku. But they didn’t manage to save her life.
Gazakh resident Bayramova Shahla, born in 1994, died in childbirth. It was her first birth giving. She died of atonic hemorrhage.
Gadirli said both bodies have already been dissected.
The Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Association is currently conducting an investigation in this regard.
