Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov, Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Colonel General Vahid Aliyev, heads of the ministry’s relevant authorities, parents of the graduates attended the ceremony, APA reports.
Making speech in the ceremony, Chief of the Academy, Major-General Panah Suleymanov recalled that the academy was established under the order issued by Azerbaijan's President on June 2, 2008. He said the best conditions have been created in this specialized educational institution and a laboratory equipped with modern facilities operates at the Academy.
Kemaleddin Heydarov congratulated the graduates and their parents and said that the graduates of the academy who got higher education also matured as a man loyal to the homeland and state. The minister said the ministry established eight years ago has great potentials, adding that the logistics bases of eight regional centers keep up with Baku.
“Our vehicles and equipment allow us to overcome all events”, he said.
The Minister also gave recommendations to the cadets.
“I am sure that you will ensure the safety of state property and people with your experience. Today Azerbaijan is implementing large regional projects. We bear great responsibility to ensure their safety.”
The Minister presented the diplomas and lieutenant epaulets to the distinguished graduates of the academy.
The ceremony ended with a solemn march of cadets.
