Committee Chairperson Hijran Huseynova said that the Committee has already made proposals: “It would be better for people to adopt more children due to simple laws. On the other hand, the state takes care of these children. Not everyone can adopt a child. This is a very difficult issue. We have studied the international experience. Psychological environment in the family that will adopt a child should be thoroughly investigated. In some cases family returns a child after half a year stating that they can not take care of him/her. In this case, a child gets moral injuries twice. There are a lot of problems in this regard. However, we would like to have more opportunities for children adoption.”
