Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. An issue on the fate of children deprived of parental care after leaving the boarding schools will be raised at the Azerbaijani Parliament, said Chairperson of the Parliament’s Human Rights Committee Rabiyyat Aslanova, APA reports.

Aslanova said that entrepreneurs engaged in the construction of buildings would take some responsibilities: “With the state support one or two apartments in each newly-constructed building will be given to the children deprived of parental care. The question will be raised taking into account all the aspects of the legislation.”

She said that it will serve to decrease the number of young people facing undesirable fates after leaving boarding schools: “They live in boarding schools till the age of 18 and then they become helpless, residents of the street and that leads to the undesirable phenomena.”
