Azerbaijani Parliament hosts international conference â€œWelfare of children â€“ welfare of societyâ€

APA reports that the conference is being held within “One in Five” campaign of the Council of Europe.

PACE Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development has established special Sub-committee to organize the conference.

Deputy speaker of the Parliament Bahar Muradova, Committee Chairman of the Parliament, chairman of International and Inter-parliamentary Relations Committee of Azerbaijani Parliament, head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov, chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament's committee on legal policy and state-building Ali Huseynli, MPs Sevinj Fataliyeva, Asef Hajiyev, Musa Gasimli and a number of NGO leaders are attending the event.

First Vice-Chairperson of the PACE Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development Valeriu Ghiletchi, PACE rapporteur Sylvia Eloisa Bone Pero, PACE members Stefan Schennach, Clemens Lammerskitten, member of the Hellenic Parliament Michael Katrinis, including Head of UNICEF Baku Office Mark Hereward are participating in the conference.

The meeting of the special Subcommittee established within the conference will also be held.
