APA reports that according to the Education Ministry’s annual report for 2015, a decision was passed on recognition of 1224 diplomas, and unrecognition of 571 diplomas. 2919 appeals are under consideration.
During the reporting period, 25 educational institutions (inducing 16 preschool, 3 general, 2 alternative and 4 higher education institutions) were granted special permits (licenses).
In 2015, the Ministry of Education constructed 9 secondary schools, and overhauled 1 secondary, 1 boarding, 2 specialized secondary schools and 1 higher education institution. Major construction and repair work are underway in 23 educational institutions. Current repair work in 72 educational institutions, renovation work in 1 educational institution and communication work in 112 educational institutions were completed. 12 educational institutions were supplied with gas. Fully equipped modern laboratories were established at 50 educational institutions.
