US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia and Ambassador to India Sergio Gor may be appointed to a senior position in the administration, including the post of secretary of state or White House chief of staff, The Washington Sun reports, citing sources.
According to the newspaper, Gor is being considered as a potential candidate for senior positions within US President Donald Trump's inner circle. The possibility that he could replace current Secretary of State Marco Rubio has not been ruled out.
It should be noted that Gor, who was born in Tashkent in 1986, was originally named Sergey Gorokhovsky.
